This is an Australian delivered bike and has been in our collection for a long time, this bike is so beautiful to look at and very original and complete, it is almost perfect (someone added a Mercedes '250' badge to the air box),
this is a visually and mechanically an excellent bike, it's a joy to ride, it's a joy to own and it's an absolute joy to look at.
The elegant looking XL250 KO Motorsport was the first Dual Sport Motorcycle, the first 4 valve double over head cam Engine, the first to have Magnesium cases and hubs and the first to have fast remove lights for off road Competition.
It won Motocross races, it won the Baja 1000 and won the hearts of a generation. The Honda XL250 Motorsport was only built for two years then changed (for the worse some say), this is the original Motorsport, this is the first, this is the KO.
They do not make them any more and they are rare and even rarer in this condition; very original, very un-molested and very complete.
Perfect for Vintage Club Registration and very original and complete for a collector, enthusiast or Museum.
